1. INTRODUCTION :

   This page, "STUDY GUIDE" contains the basic advice for efficient study of the course COSC 330 as a whole....For general advice on effective learning, especially in an online environment see the general study guide.

    The most important point on which to focus throughout the course is that you will be learning how to create, develop, and modify Web sites; this is both an "art" and a "science".

In section 5, below, are links to study guides for each Learning Module.  (These individual Guides will be written during the Fall, 2000 AS they are covered in the on-campus course; therefore, although on-campus students are welcome to read them, they should realize that the advice will be tentative and not directed to the on-campus student.  This page, the basic advice, should be helpful to all students, so on-campus students are encouraged to read this page and give me feedback on how to improve it in the future.)  Important note: Do NOT underestimate the advice given in the study guide -- I have created the whole course based on the assumption that you are (1) following my guidelines for studying the course and (2) keeping your Promise to Fulfill Minimum Expectations!

2. STUDY GUIDE FOR THE COURSE AS A WHOLE:

Until I have time to write a version dedicated to this course, just use the basic Study Guide for COSC 120, A general guide for all courses.

3. STUDY GUIDES TO INDIVIDUAL LEARNING MODULES:

{I plan to update these as the Learning Modules are covered in the on-campus course.}
