Are you interested in robots? Would you like to build an intelligent machine that can be programmed to do different operations? Look into the future as you design your very own robot for a real world application. We will define the needs based on an actual situation; you will use your creativity, passion, and interest to build it. Have fun with your peers and enjoy the success when you present your design to your parents and guests.

Come and join us to spend a week in Frostburg State University’s brand new Compton Science Center. You will learn how to program intelligent robotic systems, practice with robotics simulation software, and program actual robotic arms to solve given real life problems. You will design and build an intelligent mobile robot to compete with others. The program also includes hands-on activities in our physics and engineering labs, planetarium shows, and exciting evening activities.

The FSU campus is located in the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland and is conveniently located right along I-68. Our modern campus includes comfortable dormitory rooms, a contemporary student center with game room and large screen television, and a physical education complex with facilities for racquetball, basketball, weight room, tennis, and swimming.
